Construction work in 1970 revealed a huge clay-filled calcite cleft with yellow-white crystals up to 25 cm.
Also a fluorite occurrence with pale greenish crystals up to 2 cm on edge was found and exploited in 1970 (Oberhauser, 1991). The occurrence was located at the contact between a limestone ("Schrattenkalk") and a glauconitic sandstone ("Gaultgrünsandstein").
