A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 34, T18N, R13E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) S of Summit City (site), W of Fordyce Lake.

Parallel veins of iron arsenide containing gold occur in granite of the Sierra Nevada Batholith.
