Sn mine.
Mining concession no. 2433 "Serra de Lousado No. 3" registered on 31-10-1949.
NOTE:
This locality (concession no. 2433) was uploaded based on the record of mining concessions in mainland Portugal from August 1836 to December 1962.
The LNEG groups together five mining concessions — 2192, 2431, 2432, 2479 and 3270 (mines of Lousado/Serra Lousado, Vilela, Ribeiro de Áspera, and Santa Cristina) — but does not mention concession no. 2433 (Serra de Lousado Mine No. 3).
The unique GPS coordinates for these five concessions show that these mining operations were contiguous, located in the parishes of Coura and Romarigães, both within the municipality of Paredes de Coura, and in the parish of Meixedo in the municipality of Viana do Castelo. These three parishes also share adjacent geographic boundaries.
