Iron ore deposit.

The Sahavaara iron ore comprises three lenses of skarn-rich iron formation. The Sahavaara deposit is the largest of the known iron deposits in the Pajala area; resources at Stora Sahavaara amount to 145 Mt, with 43.1% Fe and 0.076% Cu. The ore zone consists of serpentine-rich, high-grade magnetite ore, including lenses and layers of serpentine–diopside–tremolite skarn, and is up to 80 m thick.
