Mineralization is hosted within a northeast trending dike of pink granite pegmatite that is at least 25 feet wide and 100 feet long. It is hosted by paragneisses lying north of the Hurd Lake granite mass.
Circa 1950: Surface work including a shallow pit was done by J. S. Dempsey.
