Gold prospect.
Gold occurs in late-Variscan extensional brittle structures (quartz veins) hosted by meta-volcanic, and minor meta-sedimentary, rocks.
The mineralisation is hosted within Ordovician meta-rhyolites and meta-siltstones belonging to the Gerrei Unit.
