Pre-1910 : openings in several magnetite-bearing veins
Several well-defined veins carrying magnetite occur in a biotite-granite-gneiss. The largest vein has a maximum width of 4 ft and can be traced for 60 yds Magnetite constitutes about 50 % of the main vein. See GSC Bull # 45, 1958 for a description of the veins. Specimens of magnetite and titanite are in the ROM.
