Ferrocarpholite occurrences in synmetamorphic quartz veins embedded in Permo-Carboniferous schists (Briançonnais Domain).
Outcrops are located along the road, which connects the Maira and Grana valleys through Esischie Pass, near Grange Rocciassone and Gias Lauset between 1731 and 1984 m in elevation (Goffé, 2002).

Futhermore:
- the magnesiocarpholite occurrences located in Marmora valley, above the road connecting the Maira and Grana valleys, between 2050 m in elevation and Esischie Pass are included in this last locality (see http://www.mindat.org/loc-252647.html).
- the uranium mineralizations of Comba Colombier and Sletta (left side of Marmora valley) are included in Preit uranium deposit, of which represent the easternmost sector (see http://www.mindat.org/loc-29841.html).
