Comment by Giles Peatfield*:
The Kyuchus deposit is located on a small western tributary of the Yana River, about 235 kilometres north of the regional centre of Batagay (or Batagai), and 36 kilometres south-west of the small airport at Ust’-Kuiga.

The attached photos were taken by Giles Peatfield during a field examination trip in August and September 1993. They are added for purely historical interest. Remember that these were taken over 30 years ago – there may have been some changes.
