Skarnoid ocurrence.

The area belongs to the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, so collecting activities are restricted.

Site located east of the locality of Fermoselle in a place called "La Botija" on the elevations that form the Duero river valley, right on the border with Portugal.
This is a small prospections to investigate the possibilities for the exploitation of Tungsten (Scheelite)
Are located inside of levels of calc-silicate gneiss and marble of Cambrian age, forming something like a Skarn (skarnoid) and apparently everything is regional metamorphism phenomena of high pressure and temperature.
