There are about six documented mineral occurrences within its boundaries.

Rich in heritage and boasting its own Ghost town (Seguin Falls) along the old Nipissing Road just south of the 518, the area has alot to offer in the way of mineral occurrences and historical sites.

The old Nipissing Road passes through the township on a north/south heading.
Gas up and pack for the trip if you decide to venture off 518 north or south,
and don't forget your camera.
