Located in the north central part of Christie Township. The workings are found on the border of Christie/McKellar townships.
The site was worked for muscovite in 1898.
I did not visit the site, but stopped at the intersection of the main roads some 500m west of the actual site.
A man and his wife were working out in their garden when I approached them about the nearby site. The man mentioned the site and said it was a crevice like crack in the rock some 3 to 4 feet in length and just over a foot wide.
He then told me to walk over to the steps leading up to his house and I would find some of the muscovite bearing rocks he collected from the site some time ago. He said take as many pictures of it as I wanted.
I did get a few pics and thanked him for his time and help and soon was on my way again.
