Northeast of Orrville Ontario, the Seguin river passes under Highway 518. On the south side of the road a large pool empties over a small rapids the under the road and on the north side the water cascades steeply to a gorge like area. This gorge area is where the fast water has eroded the rock away as it is forced northwest by the rock. The north side of the road is very steep and dangerous.
White calcite marble is present on both sides of the road in small amounts.
The marble is highly tectonized and contains inclusions of garnet pyroxenite and pegmatite and a variety of disseminated silicate minerals. The section contains bands of dolomite and magnesian calcite as well as pure calcitic marble.
