Hosted in fractures in the Xiong’er Group volcanic rocks. Contains gold reserves of 6.33 tons and average grade of 3.9 g/t. The Dongwan gold deposit mainly contains three orebodies (M1-I, M1-II, M1-III). Hydrothermal alterations are common and include silicification, K-feldspathization, carbonatization, ferritization, sericitization, kaolinization, epidotization and chloritization.
