On the east side of a Cirque at the head of Gold Creek
Tectonics: The Miocene Igneous Activity Is Part Of The Initial Stages Of Cascade Magmatic Arc Development.
Geology: The vein occurs near a wide granodiorite dike (huntting, 1956, p. 298), which probably is part of the nearby snoqualmie batholith (tabor and others, 1982, geol. Map).
Ore(s): Ore Is Sporadically Distributed But Is Locally Of High Grade In The Vein (Huntting, 1956, P. 298; Moen, 1976, P. 142-143).
