Endako deposit

Four pits on molybdenum porphyry deposit.

Production began in 1965 and by 1993 a total of 231 million tonnes had been mined yielding more than 157.5 million tonnes of molybdenum.
Proven and probable ore reserves estimated by the company were 117,600,000 tonnes grading 0.077 per cent molybdenum on January 1, 1995; in addition, measured and indicated mineral resources were estimated at 147,850,000 tonnes grading 0.061 per cent molybdenum.
L05 : Porphyry Mo (Low F- type).

Geochronology

Mineralization age: Mesozoic : 149.23 Ma to 142.15 Ma

Important note: This table is based only on rock and mineral ages recorded on mindat.org for this locality and is not necessarily a complete representation of the geochronology, but does give an indication of possible mineralization events relevant to this locality. As more age information is added this table may expand in the future. A break in the table simply indicates a lack of data entered here, not necessarily a break in the geologic sequence. Grey background entries are from different, related, localities.
