A former Au-Ag mine on the steep rocky NE slope of the Ochsenkopf, about 600 meters SW from the Ochsenhütte. First mentioned 1425, owned by Hans Hirsch, later by Alexander Schmelzing. It was never profitable since the arsenopyrite from this mine contained very little gold and silver. Active mining for gold was terminated in 1620.
This adit was mined afterwards for arsenopyrite to produce arsenic by crushing, washing, roasting and sublimation in a “Gifthütte” (literally 'poison hut'). In 1799 it was owned by Alois Klamer (hence the name Aloisy or Aloisi). It was closed around 1810.
The adit is still accessible at N47.06701 E13.44676.
The mineralogy is from the whole district and not from this one mine alone.
