The term "Avesnois" is a territory designated "natural regional park" bounded on the north and east by the France-Belgium border, with the following border towns :
To the North : Maubeuge, Jeumont, Marpent
To the East : Solre le Château, Eppe Sauvage, Wallers-Trélon
South and west into the territory of French cities : Anor, La Capelle Landrecies, Le Quesnoy, Bavay delineate the contours of this tourist and wooded region.
