Enrichment of the local vein-forming ores not only in Se; Ag (max. 2640 ppm), Au (max. 1560 ppb) and PGE (Pt: 970 ppb; Pd: 365 ppb), Bi, and Te, but also Ge (max 338 ppm) and Cd (max 102 ppm) is reported by Lohmeier et al. (2023).
NOTE: The only correct spelling is Eskaborn (e.g. on old maps or in the list of monuments of the state of Saxony-Anhalt). The incorrect spelling Eskeborn is due to the pronunciation in the regional dialect. Strictly speaking, Eskebornite is a misnomer and should actually be renamed Eskabornite
