A prospect consisting of 28 manganese claims on the Dosewallips River. It was developed by several short trenches and adits. Assays ran from 23.4%-26.4% Manganese, mainly in the form of silicates.
Structure: Basalt Is Highly Fractured And Cut By Many Minor Faults

Alteration: Basalt Is Spilitized

Tectonics: Active Margin (Leading Edge Of North American Plate)

Deposit: 3 limestone beds in basalt contain lenses of Mn ore, some to 25 ft thick. See also mrds record m700321
