A quarry in clays and bituminous Palaeozoic limestones, cutting rocks of the Zechstein and Rotliegend series (including copper slates) that were raised by an underlying salt deposit.
Located near Lieth, around 5 km SE of Elmshorn.

Nature preserve and national geotope. Collecting strictly forbidden.
