Antimony (stibnite) deposit, alternately mined from the middle of the 19th century to the end of the 1960s, located ca. 1.5 km north of the Montauto farm (Fattoria di Montauto).

The antimony deposit is hosted in the highly porous and partly silicified dolomitic limestone known as Calcare Cavernoso, which includes masses of coarsely crystalline gypsum and is locally transformed into a very hard gray-black quartzite. Stibnite and its alteration products are accompanied by pyrite. Cinnabar was sometimes found as thin films on the rock fracture surfaces.

The deposit has yielded aesthetic specimens of stibnite with longitudinally striated prismatic crystals up to 25 cm in length.
