This plant had affiliations with the Baylis property and the Speranza property workings (Manchester: 39). The complex is located about ½ mile (0.8 km) west of the Kinkel quarry. The Baylis property workings were opened by the Kinkel family about 1920. The quarry on the Speranza property was opened in the fall of 1929.
