A mercury mine located on the ridge North of Cowhide Cove Road. May have a relationship with Funderburk Mountain, Pike Co.; however, no relationship is stated. Ore is in Gap Ridge Sandstone. Started 1932 and closed 1941. Worked sporadically since.
