Formula:
(Sc,Fe2+,Fe3+,Mn)(Ti,Sn,Zr)1.5(Nb,Ta,W)1.33O8
Member of:
Unique combination of elements.
Most likely identical to Unnamed (Sc-Nb oxide).
As exsolutions in rutile (platelets, ~20 × 2 μm on average, likely oriented as controlled by the host's structure) compared to which it concentrates Nb, Ta, ∑Fe, Sc, W, Zr, Mg, and U. Also as irregular, sub-round blebs, 10-30 μm in size; the latter concentrate up to 10.06 wt.% Sc2O3 (as compared to 3.37 in the former habit type).
