The unnamed Ba-analogue of bannisterite. Originally reported by Matsubara & Kato (1989).
Chemically inhomogeneous; some Ba-poor analyses actually are K-dominant, with K > (Ba+Ca).
Compare demagistrisite.
Occurs in veinlets cutting massive caryopilite-rhodochrosite ore; the ore is is also cut by veinlets of a manganoan chlorite group species, and Ba-enriched orthoclase.
