Named in honor of Professor Qiuming Cheng (成秋明; b. 1960), a prominent Chinese mathematical geoscientist and member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Earth sciences.
The P (actually, the Zn2FeO14) analogue of joëlbruggerite. Unique combination of elements (at the upload time). Also the first mineral to combine antimony and phosphorus.
