Located 16 km E of Orange (35km by road).
Mines include:
Lady Belmore; Toms Mine; Sulphide Corporation Mine; Spicers Mine.
All operated in the early 1900s.

The Lewis Ponds polymetallic (gold–silver–copper–lead–zinc) massive and disseminated sulphide system is located 14 km east of Orange. The system includes two stratabound ore bodies, the Main zone and Toms zone that contain a resource totalling 5.7 Mt of ore at 1.9 ppm Au, 97 ppm Ag, 3.5% Zn, 2% Pb and 0.19% Cu. Late Silurian volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the Anson Formation. The Anson Formation is overlain by the Mullions Range Volcanics, host the deposit.
