A former Mn mine located in the SE¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 13, NE¼ sec. 24, T4S, R19E, SBM, 9.7 km (6.0 miles) NNW of McCoy Spring (spring), at the N end of the McCoy Mountains, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

The ore body strikes N30E and dips 75W at a thickness of 1 meter, width of 1 meter and length of 30 meters. The ore body is tabular in a fissure vein. The primary mode of origin was hydrothermal activity. Primary ore control was faulting. Wallrock alteration is moderate (argillic; sericitic). Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings.
