A Cr occurrence located in sec. 16, T23N, R9E, MDM.
NOTE: The MRDS database apparently contains major errors regarding this location. The cited MRDS file provides geographic coordinates (39°54'03"N, 121°59'06"W) and geographic descriptive data placing this location is Tehama County, in an unlikely geologic setting for such a deposit. The same MRDS file states that the location is in sec. 16, T23N, R9E, MDM, which corresponds to data provided in MRDS files for the Benner-Barrington group. Since the Pine Cone claim (Cr) is specifically stated to be a part of this group, it is listed as such. Adjustment of the geographic coordinates to 120 degrees of longitude vice 121 and 39 degrees 51 minutes of latitude vice 54 minutes, places this locality where it is purported to be.
