A former lode Au-Ag-Pb-Cu occurrence/mine group located 0.2 km (0.1 mile) E of Grass Valley (coordinates of record). The properties comprise 150 acres. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. This group is a consolidation of the Dromedary-Rock Roche & Berriman Mines and includes the Peabody, Cabin Flat and Scotia Mines.

Mineralization is gold-bearing quartz vein deposits hosted in granodiorite. There are several veins 1 to 3 feet thick with combs, sheared & brecciated textures being common. Local rocks include .

Workings include underground openings with a length of 3,048 meters and an overall depth of 579.12 meters and comprised of an incline, winze, 7 levels, raises, crosscuts and drifts.

Production data are found in: MacBoyle, Errol (1919); Logan, Clarence August (1941); Goodwin, Joseph Grant (1957).

production information: The Dromedary vein yielded ore at $10 to $60 (period values) Au/ton. 2% sulfides at $50 (period values) Au/ton. Also produced 35,000 pounds Cu and 15,000 pounds Pb as by-products.
