Garrawilla Station is currently a 7,000 acre working cattle farm. Previously a large sheep station.

Garrawilla Station (originally called Girrawillie) was first established by Charles Purcell, a Nepean settler who came to Australia in 1810. By 1892 the property was described as 51,000 acres freehold, 70,000 acres leasehold.

Coordinates are for the trig station on Garrawilla Station. The homestead is about 4km to the west.

There are dozens of zeolite occurrences in the Garrawilla volcanics, many are located along Garrawilla Creek on this property. However the station owners usually refuse permission for collecting due to some bad behaviour of past collectors.

The occurrences have been evaluated by the NSW Geological Survey for potential zeolite production (Pecover, 1988).
