A former underground Ag-Pb-Zn-Fe-Baryte-Sr-Fluorspar mine located in South-central sec. 25 and sec. 36, T3S, R23W, some 1,500 feet SW of the Blaine Mine, on state land. Owned at times, or in part, by Sterling Silver Mines Consolidated; and the United Silver Mines Co. of Yuma.

Mineralization is a vein that occurs within a fault zone that is 1.22 meters wide, depth to top of 0 meters, and depth to bottom of 30.48 meters. It strikes S35E and dips 60E and cuts Tertiary andesitic or trachytic breccia and tuff. Argentiferous lead and zinc carbonates and lead oxide occur in cavity fillings, with a gangue of quartz, black calcite, iron oxides, and barite. Wall rocks are strongly brecciated, silicified, chloritized and carbonatized. The vein width is 4 feet in the principal winze at less than 1% Pb.

A few hundred feet W of the principal workings, a similar vein occurs within a fracture zone that strikes NW and dips 50NE. It has been prospected by a short tunnel. This vein is more extensively iron stained than the other vein.

Workings include underground operations to the surface to a depth of 18.29 meters. Also developed were 200 or more feet of tunnels with 2 raises to surface, 2 winzes (principal winze at 60 feet deep), and 1 stope to surface. This mine was worked in the 1880's and reportedly produced considerable high-grade silver ore at that time but the exact amount is unknown.
