A former U occurrence/mine located in the NE¼ sec. 20, T38N, R7E, G&SRM, 10.9 km (6.77 mi) WNW of Bitter Springs, in Rider Canyon, on federal National Park Service land (Grand Canyon National Park). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is becquerelite with natroalunite in Chinle sandstone. Local rocks include Permian sedimentary rocks.
