Rodingite dykes in metaophiolitic rocks.
This occurrence is situated in the lower part of Rio Chianale valley in proximity of the fourth streamlet embankment and a water spring, now completely dry, named “Fontana del Preive” after a man-like rock in its nearness, locally known as “Preive” (literally "The Priest").
Grossular from this locality often appears as pagoda-like crystal aggregates and elongated single crystals.
