The Cascade group of prospects on the south side of Trout Creek are one of the many failed mining developments in the Index district. There is some contention on their status and location, but it appears that they were re-claimed as the Dorian group later on based off of the similarities between developments described in Hodges (1956) and Jacobson (2008). There is no record of production, but it appears that work continued there into the 1950s based off of remnants.

Deposit: Mineralized shear zone containing 1-ft-wide vein with nodules and stringers of sulfide minerals
