Outcrops of ultrahigh-pressure garnet lherzolite from mantle transition zone (300-450 km deep).
Olivine with ilmenite (intermediary phase between ilmenite and perovskite) exsolutions might result from the destabilization of ringwoodite or wadsleyite.
P/T conditions for garnet lherzolit were determined as 3.2 GPa and 840°C (Nimis, 2011).
Note: The clinoenstatite forms thin lamellae in diopside grains of the garnet lherzolite (Bozhilov et al., 1999).
