Granite pegmatite. Oxford pegmatite field. Pegmatite & calc-silicate deposit. Has a contact with the calc-silicate-bearing Sangerville Formation. Excellent symmetrical dark coffee-brown vesuvianite crystals up to 3 x 2 x 2 cm with occasional poor grossular were found during expansion of the pegmatite pit.
