A former underground Au-Cu-Ag-Pb mine located on 9 patented claims, in the N½ or the N½SE¼ sec. 3, T5S, R16E, about 1¼ miles W of the Old Mill ghost town, 3 miles SE of the Christmas Mine, and 2.5 miles SW of Lee Mountain, on private land. Produced 1907-1934. Claims group extends over the southern portion of sec. 3. Owned by the Central Mining and Development Co. (1908). Operated by the Central Mining and Development Co., Frank Hubbell (1906).

Mineralization is a tabular orebody 1219.2 meters long and 2.74 meters wide, hosted in diorite and andesite. Alteration is sericitization and chloritization. Area structures include NE-trending quartz diorite intrusions. The andesite strikes NW and dips 12°NE.

The deposit is comprised of 4 nearly parallel veins and one cross vein. Metasomatic replacement of volcanic rock and volcanic sediments by ore minerals. This sdeposit is related in age and type of mineralization to the Christmas Mine, 3 miles NW in Gila County. Production was gold ore in the early production years - $16 ton Au, 10% Cu. Three small lots of ore were reported for 1906-1908.

Workings include 1 shaft with two 100 foot crosscuts off it, a 400 foot long tunnel with a 90 foot deep winze off it, along with several shallow pits. The mine also has shafts of 21, 38, 50, 155, and 184 feet deep. The workings total 121.92 meters in length and 79.25 meters deep.
