Structure: Deposit In Upper Plate Of Roberts Mtn. Thrust Near Lynn Window

Deposit: The mine was discovered by august berning in 1927. About $10,000 per year was produced in the first few years. ; info.src : 1 pub lit turquoise occurs in black shale and along the contact between the shale and intrusive quartz monzonite. The turquoise forms seams along bedding planes and nuggets along brecciated shear zones.

Geology: Turquoise occurs in black shale and along the contact between the shale and intrusive quartz monzonite. The turquoise forms seams along bedding planes and nuggets along brecciated shear zones. High-grade turquoise, slightly greenish-blue has been found both As clear pieces and As the black matrix, spider web variety.
