The ENCI quarry is a limestone quarry on the Meuse side of the Sint-Pietersberg (part of the Caestert Plateau) in the Dutch municipality of Maastricht. Opencast limestone ("marl") mining started here in 1926 with the establishment of the Eerste Nederlandse Cement Industrie (ENCI). Limestone is an important raw material for cement production. The marl extraction was definitively stopped on 1 July 2018.
The locality was well known for fossil urchins which occured quite frequently in the chalk.
