Silver mine in an epithermal Pb-Ag-Sb-Cu (Zn, Fe, Ni, Co, U) mineralization. The ore body, parts of the Valsassina hydrothermal five-elements system (Vergani, 2019), is rappresented by a big NE-SW trending lode and by a quartz-carbonate enriched hydrotermalised rock (Vulcanite del Monte Cabianca). The major ore-minerals of the deposit are tetrahedrite and argentiferous galena (with tetrahedrite and Ag sulfosalts inclusions).
The mine was excavated with a couple of galleries in the 19th and 20th centuries.

This silver deposit was exploited by the mining society "Camisolo Mine Limited" and others.

The reported coordinates are unfortunately not correct (about 600 meters too south) - the mine is not far from "Torrente della Femmina" (see OpenTopo Map) [changed on 12 March 2024 to estimated new coordinates based on above comment. Uwe Kolitsch]
