A former underground Cu-Fe-Au-Ag mine located 1½ miles NE of the Turkey Creek Station, near Turkey Creek, west side of Townsend Butte. Owned by J.P. Cleator of Turkey Creek Station (1926).

Mineralization is a lenticular body about 200 feet wide of pyrite, pyrrhotite and a little chalcopyrite, that lies in a fine-grained biotite schist.

Area structures include veins that are at very low angles (less than 40 degrees, and crosscut foliation. Local schist has foliation that varies greatly in trend.

Workings include a 100 foot deep shaft.
