A small mine on the major Camdwr fault/vein system. The mine is recorded as being worked in 1855-57, and from 1865-57, also in 1870.
Recorded production:
123 tons of lead ore
20 tons copper ore
Now located on the edge of Nant-y-Moch Reservoir some of the features shown on the 1888 Ordnance Survey Map have now been covered over by the beach. Fortunately the dump remains and produces small pieces of galena and larger pieces of sphalerite in relative abundance.
