A former underground Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn mine located on the South side of Lynx Creek, a short distance SW of Walker. Started before 1897 and closed about 1912 and practically idle thereafter. Owned by W.I. Casey & C.T. Joslin, Prescott, AZ.
Mineralization is 2 parallel veins, each 6 to 8 feet wide striking N.60ºE. in dense, dark, magnetic hornfels near contact of granodiorite. Ore control was faulting, shearing and igneous rock. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. Alteration was minor. Associated rock units include the informally-named Walker Stock or Walker Granodiorite and rhyolite dikes.
Area structures include veins sometimes parallel to regional foliation in Precambrian rocks which trends N10E to N40E.
Workings include a 740 foot deep shaft inclined at 47º plus a shaft and tunnel about 2,000 fet farther SW.
