A U-V-Cu-Mo (trace) occurrence located in the NE¼ sec. 13, T41N, R20E, and in the center sec. 18, T41N, R21E, G&SRM, 0.9 km (0.5 mile) S of Mitchell Mesa (coordinates of record), North part of the Monument area, 2 miles S of the Utah state line. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in sandstone of the Organ Rock Tongue Of Cutler Formation; Moenkopi Formation; and the Shinarump Member of the Chinle Formation, in the crest of an unnamed anticline. The strata are horizontal. The ore body is channel fill at a thickness of 22.86 meters and a width of 106.68 meters. The deposit may represent redeposition of material leached from an uraniferous deposit up dip. Host rocks include the Moenkopi Formaton, Mescal limestone, and the Shinarump member of the
Chinle formation. Local rocks include Permian to Pennsylvanian sedimentary rocks.

The Shinarump Member is about 50 feet thick on the mesa and is comprised of coarse-grained sandstones in channels.

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
