Area of mineralized overthrust regarded as a continuation of the Dent Fault System. The mineralisation occurs as an infilling in many small cracks developed in the dolomitised limestone adjacent to the fault, presumably the Melmerby Scar.
The poor orebody has been worked opencast and some small trial shafts have been sunk.
