This is Coldberry north-west of Langdon Common, NOT Coldberry, Eggleshope.
The Grid Ref. is that given in Dunham (several others are a bit doubtful) and puts the locality the other side of the main road from the workings at Grasshill Farm, which might be the true location of the mine of this name.
Grid ref is for Hawksike Hush.
Above the road there are extensive workings extending up to the watershed with Weardale.
NY827357 is a hush on one of the Coldberry End Veins alongside the Grasshill Causeway, primary tabular barite and fluorite and epimorphs in goethite after fluorite to be seen here
NY 827355 is another hush on the other Coldberry End Vein.
NY 826351 The site of Coldberry Shop Level marked by a large grassed over tip and ruined mineshop.
