At Søre Bumannsfjord area on the western side of Seiland Island in the northern Norway there are 2 localities:
1. A garnet-sillimanite zone in the layered gabbro series at the end of Søre Bumannsfjord.
2. A about 50 m long marble vein which was worked for diopside and garnet specimens at the end of 1980s.

Now the area is within the Seiland National Park and collecing is strictly forbidden!
