Aisone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Cuneo.

Aisone borders the following municipalities: Demonte, Valdieri, and Vinadio.
An array of shallow caves and rock shelters, locally known as "les barsiaio" is present in a calcschist and limestone belt outcropping to the northwest of Aisone. Already seasonally inhabited in Neolithic times, approximately between 4800 and 3500 BC, they have been used as shelters by shepherds in more recent times.
